FuriBee GT90, First Impression

GearBest kindly sent me a Ready-To-Fly 90mm brushless qaudcopter to review: the FuriBee GT90 Fire Dancer. As the name suggests, it is a fierce and fiery little spinner! I have not yet had the opportunity to fly the little quad outdoors yet, because of winter weather. And it is actually a little too fierce to be flying indoors, to my taste (I am not that good a flyer yet, so I need lots of room ;) ). Plus, our dog likes to go after that high pitch sound of those 1104 7500KV (!) motors. I did give it a try, but it was so responsive that I crossed the room before I knew it! So I am waiting for an opportunity to go play outside, but I wanted to share my first impressions from the unboxing with you guys (and girls) already. The little pink lady comes fully assembled, with a full set of spare 5-bladed (!) props, and a choice of receivers. I chose the FrSky compatible version , but there is also a FlySky version , and a DSMX version . Or you can choose a version without receiver .

3D Printer: Tevo Tarantula

OK, I admit. This is maybe not directly RC stuff. But Many RC enthusiasts use, or have thought of using, a 3D printer to create their own camera mounts, brackets and braces, motor guards, and such. So did I, but I was not willing to fork out €500,= to €5.000,= that those typically cost. So I was more or less looking at 3D printer kits . Kits are cheaper, because they are not assembled yet, which saves cost on labour and on shipping (as the box can be more compact). With my newly found sponsor GearBest , we agreed that I could give the cheapest kit around a try, and they were kind enough to send me a Tevo Tarantula in it's basic configuration for free to review. And at the current price point of about  $180,= (€ 151,=) in a Flash Sale, this is more in the range I was looking for. And I imagine that holds for many others as well... So here's a write-down of my experiences building the Tevo Tarantula . For the Tevo Tarantula , there are a couple of options you can choose

First review: Hubsan H501S X4

The Hubsan H501S X4 is a brushless Remote Controlled Quadcopter, which has a very high Value for Money! We're talking $200 price range here, and features you would only expect to find on a copter that costs more like twice that! I got this one very kindly sent to me by GearBest for review, and that is what you are about to read about, here! The X4, as I will call it for short from here on, comes in an impressively compact box for an RTF (Ready to Fly) quadcopter of this size. The controller looks very professional, and "feels" like a quality build too. Inside the box, there are two separate compartments: one for the controller, and one for the quad itself, plus two boxes with the accessories inside. There's a charger, 2 sets of props, a tool, the controller, and an extra little baggy (more on that one later) The flight battery is already placed inside the battery compartment of the drone. It's a 2700 mA
