Some tme ago, both GearBest and Banggood approached me, asking if I would be interested in reviewing some, mainly RC related, items for them. They would sponsor the articles (in whole, or partly) in return for my reviews. That's why you find review articles among my other flying adventure stories.
GearBest does not try to influence the outcome of my reviews, so all the reviews you read on this blog are my honest opinions at the time of writing the review.
I get to keep the review items as a reward, and I get personalised links to go with the items. Those links trace back to me, so that I can receive a commision on each sale. If you, as a reader, decide to buy an item through that personalised link, you pay exactly as much as when you would go to the GearBest site directly, but now I also get a small percentage of the turnover. That amount can then be spent on more review items. So, there's the circle of life of my reviews :)
The same goes for the deals on the Special Deals page. That page contains special discounts, usually temporary discounts, and/or a limited-number-of-items discounts, that I got offered to offer to you. Some of those discounts are unique to this site, others, you may fin don other sites as well. I do not get the products, in this case, but I do get a small percentage of the turnover. So this is a good way to save money, while supporting my review activities.
Another place where I collect coupon codes and other discounts, is my facebook page Nohurries. Check it out to see if anything there meets your needs. Guaranteed cheap, free of import duties, and with me as an in-between contact to make sure communication with the supplier runs smoothly, utilising my inside contacts in China.
Again, the amount I get is small enough to not let it influence my opinion, so you can be sure that what I write is what I actually think of the article.
Just so you know ...
